Soda Blasting is great for removing paint, oil, marine growth etc from propellers, trim tabs and outdrives.
Old and peeling  varnish can be removed from decking, masts etc and chrome and brass can be left looking like new. Engine rooms, engines and bilges can be cleaned of oil, grease and grime.

Crack Detection

Some structural work in large ship hulls and fishing vessels are under extreme pressure.
The pressure, hardness and density of conventional blasting media tends to peen over any cracks or imperfections that might need to be indentified for reconditioning or fault finding purposes. If cracks and imperfections are not detected, this may cause structural failure.
Soda Blasting is brilliant for crack and metal imperfection detection as it actually opens up the cracks, leaving them visible for all to see.
