This Cast Iron hopper was part of the guttering system from a Catholic Church which was undergoing refurbishment. We were asked to blast away over 100 years of painting from all the guttering, downpipes, hoppers and brackets. the detailing which was revealed under all the paint was amazing.
Following a fire at a Hurley Stick makers premises, ( I am in Ireland, you know! ), machinery was severely damaged by fire and the acidic smoke. The copy lathe and bandsaw pictured below required no more than a few replacement electrical parts to put them back into action.

Before the house, below, was given a fresh coat of paint, the loose flaking existing paint needed to be removed. At the same time, all the mahogany windows and doors were blasted, removing all of the old varnish in readiness for refinishing.
